Hot flashes and insomnia. The only time I get anxiety is when MRI or PET scan are mentioned.

No just hot flashes, dr took me off of it after two months and put me on Arimidex and the hot flashes have calmed down a lot but I sweat all the blasted time. Ugh.

I have not had depression but hear it is very common. I sure have had hot flashes tho. I had total hysterectomy and still have hot flashes from the tamoxifen.

Yes, along with insomnia and headaches, they took me off of it and next week I am going to talk with them about removing my ovaries and changing meds. I'm sorry you feel this way I know how you feel. Talk to your doctor.

Was on tamoxifen for 3 years thought I'd share my experience with you all it peaks between 6-8 months when the hot flashes are the worst but after that it slowly does get better still have them but not soaking wet want to cry . In the beginning I'd get so upset over them just couldn't breath. I then just kind if would calm myself down and remind myself it's just a flash and it will pass walk outside get some fresh air have a cool refreshing glass of water and take a few deep breaths. I also only wear 100% cotton ...cool and dries fast .... And splurged on 700 count cotton sheets....what a difference that all made. Good luck to you all on your journey
