SO GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU!!! Colleen Ivy Leahan was asking about you a couple of days ago. Hopefully, she will check in soon. I wish I had a magical answer for you. There are days when you have a dark cloud over your head. Emotions are transient, they come, they go, things never remain the same. If that cloud, does not leave, it is time to get some help from your doctor. You might always think about talking to a counselor. My oncologist had one in the big group he shared offices with. She was wonderful and really specialized in women with breast cancer. Sometimes, you get stuck with thought crammed in your head. Many times, your friends just don't understand breast cancer plus it freaks them out. You can also check with your oncologists office or the American Cancer Society to see if you can find a Women With Breast Cancer group in your area. It helps to really talk to others face to face who really DO know the path you are on.
I always rely on my faith. When things get really bad, I pack it all up and hand it over to God. I figure He has the big shoulders, and can carry my burden, easily. It truly gives me a big sense of comfort. I am a terrible church-goer but have a deep love and faith in God. Hang in there darlin' You just keep fighting. Take care and God's blessings to you, Sharon
