Your Story

I am a 53-year-old wife and mother of three/grandmother of six. My breast cancer diagnosis came as quite a shock following a routine mammogram in January 2012. My diagnosis was invasive ducticle stage 1, ER positive, her2/neu negative; oncotype 15 spared me of the need for chemo at this time. I had bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction (silicone gel implants). I am currently taking Arimidex. I have gained so much encouragement and support through this site, I am willing to share my story with anyone who will listen. As so many have stated, not a club we would willingly join, but thankful to be a part of.
