How long did it take for BRCA1 & 2 test results? It has been 6 weeks

    I got mine in 3 weeks, but my dad's took about 6 weeks.

    It can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks usually. This from when the blood is drawn & insurance approval. There is only one lab out in Colorado that does the testing. I'm sure now that its all in the news, they are backed up. Waiting is the worst. Prayers to you.

    I was told it would take 6 - 8 months to get the results back.

    I was fortunate, received mine in less than 2 weeks. Good luck and the waiting is the hardet part.

    My clinic rushed mine surgeon wanted to make surgery decisions based on it. Mine were processed in Colorado I think and were back within two weeks.

    I got mine back in 2 weeks. My surgeon was waiting on that for his final decision. The waiting was the hardest part :(
