Confirmed diagnosis of infiltrating ductal cancer of right breast 4/12/13. No history of cancer in my family. Since first being told I have cancer - I have been in the small percentage that had to have my lumpectomy done 2x's and still margins are not clear. then third surgery this past week to have all lymph nodes removed.
In the beginning I had several instances of overwhelming feeling that I will die from this. I have been part of small percentages where things are not going the way other cancer trends have. I am hoping this last surgery will make me feel better that as much as possible - all the cancer that is known is out of me.
I am 47, mother of 4 and grandma of 2 with an awesome supportive husband.
Currently not working as my contract time was up and how do I get a new job when I still have chemo and radiation etc. I am not a home person and suffer from MAJOR depression so am challenged in many ways from this cancer!
